A sculptural Swedish stoneware vase designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand during the 1950s. Identified by the model designation SYE, this distinctive piece combines an elegant silhouette with a softly mottled glaze in muted green, cream and warm beige tones.
The rounded body transitions into a slender neck with an asymmetrical, flared rim, while the delicate loop handle adds a distinctive detail to its profile. The glaze features subtle ochre-brown speckles that create depth and variation across the surface, highlighting the organic character of the ceramic.
A beautiful example of Swedish mid-century ceramic design, combining expressive form, nuanced colour and understated elegance.
