Kosta Vicke Lindstrand 41903 Reddish-Brown Sommerso Glass Vase, Sweden

A sculptural piece of Swedish art glass designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, Sweden.

Marked Kosta V. Lindstrand 41903, this vintage vase features a compact, rectangular form with softly rounded edges and a substantial clear glass casing. Its deep reddish-brown glass core is enclosed within the transparent outer layer, creating a rich contrast between the dark, warm colour and the clarity of the surrounding glass.

The geometric silhouette gives the vase a strong architectural presence, while the layered glass reveals subtle variations in tone as the light passes through it. The piece reflects the exploration of colour, transparency and sculptural form associated with mid-century Scandinavian art glass.

Please note: Colours may vary slightly from the photographs due to lighting conditions, camera settings and individual screen displays. We do our best to represent each piece as accurately as possible.
